Voter Registration Activities – Manhattan Center, School of Social Work

  • We are tabling in the lobby on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. until October 11, 2016. Students can stop by the table to pick up voter registration forms and they may also look up their polling site. Outside of these times, students may pick up voter registration forms in the Social Work Suite outside of Room 239.
  • We will be holding a Presidential Election Workshop on Saturday, October 15, from 12:40 p.m.–1:40 p.m. The workshop will be facilitated by adjunct professor Sharon Goldberg and will provide students with the opportunity to comparatively analyze each candidate from a social work perspective. The workshop will focus on salient issues relevant to the social work profession, such as healthcare policy.

Participation in all events is voluntary. All students are encouraged to take part in the Fall Voter Registration Rush so that they may be empowered to exercise their constitutional voting rights, experience the opportunity to engage in social action, and effectuate change in their surrounding communities.
